Carly is a community engagement specialist working on the CalFresh Healthy Living team. She leads nutrition education and yoga classes to make health and wellness more accessible to our communities.
Born and raised in South San Gabriel, she was thrilled to become a member of the ActiveSGV team in 2018 whose mission aligns so well with her own values. She is passionate about environmental justice and community building.
When not working at ActiveSGV, Carly teaches yoga at People’s Yoga East LA. She is the creator of Full Moon Yoga With Carly, a donation-based, outdoor yoga experience that meets every full moon. She enjoys playing tennis, seeing live music, doing arts and crafts, and hanging out with her nieces, nephews, and cats.
