BikeSGV will be kicking off the October Bike Train with a BIG Halloween bash at the park on Sunday, October 28, 2012 from 8:00am - 2:00pm.

Our Halloween Bike Train will feature two bike rides; a 60-mile ride for the more advanced cyclists and a family friendly 25-mile ride. There will also be a walk/run/jog club and kids ride around the lake. After burning some calories we invite you to gain them all back during our post-ride Fall themed BBQ that will feature a pumpkin carving contest, fix-a-flat contest, a costume/bike decoration contest and much more.

Unlike previous Bike Trains, we'll be meeting at a beautiful BBQ area along the banks of Legg Lake. There is FREE parking on a first come first serve basis located South of the 60 Freeway off Santa Anita Ave. Early arrival is recommended. All other parking is $6 for the full day.  Please visit our map for exact location.

---------------------------------FREE Bicycle Repair--------------------------------------

***Riders must be fully capable of riding long distance with few stops -- averaging 16-20mph (skinny tire bikes a must, unless you're ueber-fit!) -- and be prepared and able to repair your own bike while on the road. In other words, at a minimum you should have bring spare tubes, tire levers and pump/CO2.***
