Amy J. Wong is a lifelong San Gabriel Valley resident with demonstrated experience leading environmental and public health initiatives in the region. As a Program Specialist at ActiveSGV, she manages climate programs to advance equity in historically underserved communities of color.
She co-founded the Women on Wheels program, and currently manages the Advanced Energy Community project in Bassett and Avocado Heights. In addition, Amy serves as a Planning Commissioner for her hometown of El Monte and a member of the National Parks Conservation Association Los Angeles Young Leaders Council.
Amy graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. Outside of work, she enjoys supporting local restaurants in the SGV and being in nature.
