Diane is the Healthy Communities Director, leading the Cal Fresh Healthy Living team which supports healthy, active, and nourished lifestyles by teaching our communities about good nutrition and wellness practices.
Diane began volunteering with the organization in 2016, transitioned into a full-time employee, and over the past 6 years has participated in the Safe Routes to School - East Los Angeles project, 626 Golden Streets, Women on Wheels, and ReadSGV. Additionally, she serves on the Metro San Gabriel Valley Service Council and holds a Master of Public Health.
Diane is passionate about improving community health and sustainability in the San Gabriel Valley, with a commitment to social justice and equity. In her free time she reads, hikes, attends concerts, and hangs out with her two dogs, Maya and Mila.
