Active Socials Presents: Pure Water Southern California: A Regional Recycled Water Program – Learn, Engage, and Shape the Future of Water

On Thursday, May 15, join us for an evening of learning, community, and sustainability at Active SGV Socials Presents: Pure Water Southern California, hosted at the Jeff Seymour Family Center. From 6:00 PM to 7:30PM, attendees will dive into the groundbreaking Pure Water Southern California program—an initiative aiming to recycle cleaned wastewater into a sustainable water source for millions of people in Southern California.

This collaborative program between The Metropolitan Water District and the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts not only advances regional sustainability but also invites community members to participate in the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) review process.

The event will feature:

  • 💧 An overview of the Pure Water Southern California program and information about the public review process of the DEIR
  • 👐 Hands-on educational activities
  • 📢 Opportunities to ask questions
  • 🍽️  Light refreshments and community networking

Help us shape the future of water in Southern California. Admission is free and open to all. We look forward to seeing you there!
