Community information meetings are underway for the Foothill Gold Line Extension, the first Measure M project out the gate! Will the new stations be easily accessible via foot, bike or transit? Will they feature attractive amenities for transit users (e.g., adequate shade, public spaces, drinking fountains, public bathrooms, service retailers like cafes)? Will there be enough secure bicycle parking? The Foothill Gold Line Construction Authority will be updating the public on the latest designs in a series of meetings through August 7, a great opportunity to learn about the new line. Each meeting will have information on all the stations, so you can attend any to weigh in and find out more about:

Thanks to the support of local residents, Pasadena transportation commissioners and members of the Pasadena Complete Streets Coalition, BikeSGV is excited to announce that we have partnered with the Rose Bowl Stadium to pilot a FREE bike and ride valet program for major events in 2017!
Now you can bike, skate, or scoot your way to the stadium, directly from your residence or the nearest Gold Line station (Memorial Park Station is only 1.7 miles away), and not have to worry about getting stuck in traffic or paying for parking. We're also happy to report that the service has already proved popular, with over 450 persons utilizing the valet for the recent U2 concerts and Arroyo Seco Music Festival.
